Primary Day in the Park

The Cedar City Primary had 'a day in the park'. The turn out was amazing and the weather was even better. The first half of the day looked pretty grim, raining and cold. Our little kids got together with their parents and said prayers for nice weather for our outing. The faith of little children is amazing! We couldn't of asked for a better evening; sunny, one little five minute shower to cool us down and absolutley no wind, and that's saying alot for Cedar! We had so much fun. The water slide was a big hit, a close second to the bounce house. I didn't get as many pictures of different things as I would of liked cause I was busy trying to make sure stuff was going as planned (and also playing). And I also didn't come close to getting a picture of everyone, sorry to those I missed. Here is a peak into our "Primary day in the park". Thanks to everyone who made it possible, you are amazing!

Watermelon eating contest.

He started laughing so hard that he spewed his melon all over the table.

Photobucket

They sure are good sports for letting me take pictures of them stuffing their faces.

Photobucket

She did exceptionally well for a girl :)

Photobucket

Another winner!

Photobucket

I think he may have eaten the rind also.

Photobucket

He felt rather ripped off when he realized he was still eating and everyone else was done because his piece was three times their size.

Photobucket

He would of won three times over if he didn't laugh and loose all his melon.

Photobucket

Handsom, even if his face shows signs of a picnic at the park.

Photobucket

This is my little brother, he was so proud of himself for going down alone.

Photobucket

These are my gorgeous sisters.

Photobucket

They didn't have to try hard to talk me into going down with them, it looked like so much fun.

Wetting the tarp down.

The bullet

He was extremely fun to watch; I don't think he stopped slidding before the end of the tarp even once, he always slid out onto the grass.

Photobucket

This slide was a great idea Heather, the kids (and adults) loved it.

Photobucket

So much fun!

Flying

At the end of the tarp and still going strong! He almost went into the little creek that was about ten feet away from the bottom of the tarp.

Photobucket

These little girls were so cute.

He is such a little honey.

One of the families brought a bunch of cute puppies, here is one, ins't it adorable.

Photobucket

He wouldn't stay off the tarp, didn't want to slide, just wanted to sit on it. His mom thought spraying him with the hose would get him off. Here he is screaming about being sprayed, cute little boy.

Photobucket

Enjoying the shade and watching people slide.

Lining up for their turn to slide.
